Surface Rust Repair

In trying to stop the leaking at my back window, Tom finally decided he needed to address the surface rust that's all along the bottom portion of the window trim. Out came the wire brush, tiny screwdriver, and emory cloth. Off came the flakes of paint and rust. On went the masking tape to cover the stainless trim. That was followed by brush-applied Rusty Metal Primer.

Left to do is some light sanding with very fine sandpaper before laying down a few coats of gloss black. Then they'll finish with some more well-placed silicone to close off the last of the leaks.
