Night Driving Isn't Quite The Adventure It Once Was

Last night Tom installed three new lightbulbs (size 1816) to illuminate my dash. Everything worked. Three cheers for GM's 40+ year-old wiring and sockets. He also removed the dirty dome light cover and measured 12V at the bulb socket. Yeah again. A new dome light-bulb is added to the shopping list.

He then go out the 1500 and 2000 grit wet sandpaper and wet-sanded the new black paint. This was followed by hand polishing and waxing to try and blend the repaired area into the main paint. Not quite, but close enough.
